Our Auditions: How to Join Us

If you participate in a church choir or musical ensemble / theater, we need you!
However, if you have a good voice and an ear for music but don't read notes, you can obtain a tape of our repertoire and learn the songs through practice and repetition.
Consider joining the SSA Chorus if you enjoy singing a variety of patriotic, broadway, rock 'n roll, country, and "oldies but goodies" tunes.

Musically-inclined SSA employees are encouraged to participate in SSA Chorus rehearsals which are held Tuesdays from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The chorus often does not meet for rehearsal when performances are held during the same week.

You are encouraged to sing along with the chorus during rehearsals and when you feel comfortable, you can audition to become a member.

In an effort to attract new members, the SSA Chorus occasionally hosts Sing-A-Longs. The dates and locations for these special events are posted (usually near the cafeterias) and announced through the Public Address system within the buildings.

For more information on how to join the SSA Chorus: Call Sandra Wieprecht, Chorus Director, 410-965-6872, or Dawn Fischer, Chorus President, 410-965-4687.
